Join Art Song Colorado, Chamber Orchestra of the Springs and Opera Theatre of the Rockies for this one-day only opera performance of Tom Cipullo and Tom Philpott’s Glory Denied. This special FREE performance will take place at Arnold Hall at the Airforce Academy in Colorado Springs.
Experience the heart-rending story of Col. Jim Thompson and his wife, Alyce, as they both share the experience of nine years of captivity. This opera is based on the spoken words and letters of both husband and wife and the choices they had to make to survive the ordeal.
