Micayla Bellamy

Program Director

Micayla Bellamy is an accomplished arts administrator, educator, and performer. She holds a Master in Arts Leadership and Cultural Management from Colorado State University and a Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Northern Colorado.

Micayla began her professional career as a Vocal Music Director in Evergreen, CO, where she taught choir, arts entrepreneurship, and musical theater. Under her direction, the school program expanded community outreach and developed a mural representative of the community. In 2022, Micayla gained the position of Managing Director of the Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra (GPO). At the GPO, Micayla leads the daily operations of the organization and manages an audience development program.

Passionate about the power of the performing and visual arts to unite people, Micayla actively contributes to the arts community through volunteer work with the Greeley Multicultural Festival and the Orpheus Pagan Chamber Choir. Micayla is a soprano and has performed with Opera Colorado, Loveland Opera, the Greeley Chamber Orchestra, and several community choirs.

Micayla is eager to bring her expertise in arts event management and audience development to Art Song Colorado, where she looks forward to fostering a deeper connection with audiences through compelling musical experiences.

Bella Mallow

Marketing Director

Bella Mallow is a professional mezzo-soprano and Denver native. After graduating with her master's degree in vocal performance from Louisiana State University in 2020, she relocated back to her home state of Colorado and began her career as a performer. She has since enjoyed professional engagements with Opéra Louisiane, Boulder Opera, Opera Fort Collins, Opera Colorado, Loveland Opera Theatre, and Central City Opera, among others. When not on stage, she has facilitated the marketing and social media presence of multiple local companies in the wedding, events, and fitness industries. She is excited to be stepping into the world of arts administration with Art Song Colorado and looks forward to expanding the cultural visibility of this growing company!

Kelly Riordan

Education Director

Kelly Riordan is an American mezzo-soprano, praised for her “exuberant honesty” onstage and her “beautiful vibrancy and warmth” of tone. Based in Denver, she enjoys a diverse career performing, teaching, and conducting research internationally. Locally, she has performed the roles of Hänsel (Hänsel und Gretel), Marcellina (Le Nozze di Figaro), Mother (Amahl and the Night Visitors), and numerous others. In the 2022-23 season, Kelly collaborated with Exilarte: Center for Banned Music and the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien under the Fulbright scholarship in Vienna, Austria. She began an ongoing project studying and performing lieder by Robert Fürstenthal, one of the numerous exiled Jewish artists who faced persecution under the Third Reich. Kelly is also passionate about the mind-body connection as it relates to vocal pedagogy. Her latest research project “Singing to Heal: Exploring the Mind-Body Connection to Encourage Mental-Wellness in Singers” speaks to her holistic artist approach to teaching and performing. Kelly is a member of the Contemporary Alexander Technique school (CAS) where she is training to teach Alexander Technique. She integrates this training into her thriving private voice studio. Kelly is thrilled to bring her passion for arts education to Art Song Colorado and our community.

Mykayla Fitzpatrick

25-26 Resident Visual Artist and Graphic Designer

Mykayla Fitzpatrick graduated from Colorado State University with her BM in Voice Performance in May of 2023 and is beginning her MM in Opera Performance at Arizona State University (anticipated graduation spring of 2027). At CSU she performed in Hansel and Gretel (Gretel), The Tender Land (Laurie), Cosi fan tutte (Despina), and The Old Maid and the Thief (Laetitia). She has directed scenes from Mozart, Verdi, Bernstein, and more. She has also presented research on classical vocal pedagogy for voices transitioning through hormone replacement therapy. Since graduating, she has performed and assistant stage directed with Boulder Opera Company, assistant stage directed at Quisisana Resort in Maine and for Music on Site in Kansas, performed in Loveland Opera Theatre’s Iolanthe (Phyllis), and performed and assistant stage directed CSU’s Summer Masters Program’s Bye Bye Birdie (Kim McAfee) and Patience (Patience). Her involvement in regional companies as a performer and director as well as her love of French art song led her to her involvement as a graphic designer with Art Song Colorado. In her free time, she paints, spends time with friends, and bakes often for her neighbors.
