COLORADO SKY WORLD PREMIERE
JUNE 3RD | 6 PM (BROOMFIELD)
JUNE 4TH | 1 PM & 3 PM (BOULDER)
A new opera for families by Ben Morris and Laura Fuentes. This story about the reintroduction of wolves to Colorado is brought to life by cinematic shadow puppetry, the Lírios String Quartet, and a cast of three singers. Join us as we tell the story of a little wolf cub as he learns to make friends and be himself.
The opera lasts 35 minutes and is recommended for ages 3 and up.
Following the performance, we will hold a 30-minute puppet-making workshop.
The Broomfield production is made possible by Sohap Ensemble, Art Song Colorado, Boulder Opera, and the Broomfield Council on the Arts & Humanities with funding from the City & County of Broomfield and Broomfield Community Foundation.
